About Design
Design is all around us. It takes a curious interest to look at the world around you and think. I find myself continuously absorbing my surroundings for information. But why is this important? It gives you a glimpse into the big and small pictures simultaneously. It shows you the thought process of others. It makes you think.
So why is thinking so important in design? Thinking lets the designer(s) process different bits of information, in hopes to create an end result that touches on all those bits. Sometimes designing from one point of view can be more of a hindrance. Designing collaboratively is really where the best ideas can happen. Immediately, you are exposed to different mindsets, values, and experiences different from your own. It lets you think past your own biases and tendencies and shows what is best for the design at hand.
