Hoth/Bespin boots
The Hoth/Bespin Boots are a tall moc toe boot, with three straps running up each boot. Researching gathering images and stills led me to the conclusion that there were two variations on the boot. One was created as a traditional moccasin was, where the sole folds up and is stitched to the toe cap. The other was constructed similar to how a traditional shoe is made. I chose the more traditional version, which required me to create a set of shoe lasts, that i would then be able to pull and form the leather over. The sole is a crepe rubber, which appears to be a suitable match to the original (which may have been a thick leather.)
The boots have been tested in intense Syracuse winter conditions, and are completely functional footwear.
